Item the first: Our Backyard

The kids spent the week digging and building a firepit for us. This corner has no direct neighbors. Beside us is shared space that no one uses and behind us is an empty forested property owned by the school.

Here's a better look at the firepit. I was very impressed with their work. The kids didn't use any shovels. (We left ours in Rexburg) They were very resourceful.
We had a great time with the fire. We stayed up until the stars came out, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, sang songs and told scary stories.

Here is a picture of some more of our backyard. The kids really like the treehouse. Brigham says there's a girl at school who harasses him about it because she said her grandfather built it. (Apparantly that means we should move and let her use it all the time.)
Item B: "Let Me In" the movie. Filmed in Los Alamos

We're not saying you should go see the movie, but if you look up the preview on the internet you will recognize the scene we reinact here. Fiona is playing the vampire girl.

Brigham is playing the man who is asking, with concern, if she is alright.

Vampire girl attacks!

Here's the part of the tunnel they don't show you in the movie.
Item 3: General Conference

Here's what I did during General Conference besides listen. Actually, the beaver and the goldfish I did before, but I wanted to include them. Now I'm working on a little monkey and a giraffe. They will go to a girl in our ward who is having a baby.
