Trick or Treating

First we went trunk or treating at the church parking lot. Lots of people, princesses, Harry Potters, witches galore...fun. Then we took the kids around the neighborhood.
Briggy opted not to wear the gloves I made for him (or any others) and when he came home he had to sit on his hands to warm them up for quite a while. The crazy thing was that the hand that he carried his bag with swelled up significantly. Kinda gross and weird. He ended up cooling that hand down with an ice pack once he was warmed up.

On top of that, when he and Rocky came running from one door towards Mom and Dad waiting on the sidewalk, what the kids didn't see was the about 18" retaining wall they were about to run off. I caught Rocky before he got that far, but I guess Gary didn't anticipate Briggy's problem or was distracted keeping his eye on Fiona who was actually walking around by the walkway. Briggy ran right by Gary and splatted on the sidewalk. It would have been comical if it hadn't caused so much pain and a little ugly bruise on his forehead.

Gary decorated our van for the trunk or treat.

Jack Bauer (from 24) and Spiderman.

Briggy with his haul. You can't quite see his bruise here. It showed up better in the morning.
